hello! rachel here! waha my first time blogging in this blog. xP

okay anyway, this post is about the class tee. ahha. since there isn't much time to ask during lessons, and everybody cant decide on the colour.

charmain belle and me went to the t-shirt shop in jec. and actually the jersey only costs about $10+. at most 20bucks, depending on our design. but i doubt it'll be that ex. HAHA.

anyway, here's 2 of the designs that we have come up with. if you have any other design, please tell us! xD

yupps. for the first design, if we're making a jersey, the pole at the bottom won't be there. ahha.


these are some colours at the shop. all jerseys. haha. so, please think over which colour and design that you want, and vote the next time we ask the class! thanks!! :D
and, good job everybody in decorating the classroom! let's try to work together since this is our last year together. and jian sheng, jie yi, daphne, geraldine and all those who helped from the past few weeks [sorry cant remember who!], thanks alot too! (:

this is my reply to jian sheng's post about cai yifei stuff.

firstly, if cai yi fei were to be dismissed or sacked, he should reflect on himself, why he deserved to be sacked.
& i'm not asking for him to be sacked, i'm just asking for ihm to make a chnage in his attitude so that at least we won't fail chinese.

look, asking US to read his pathetic handwriting is already one thing.
BUT, why can't he change his own handwriting?!
isit that difficult?
NO IT ISN'T.
just because he will write slower( only by a few milli-seconds nia) , he is disencouraging us to learn as we seriously can't read his handwriting., & thus will not take notes.

&& he doesn't explain anything clearly. his explanantions are really vague.
& he talks too fast.

another thing to point out; do your rmb that time when he asked nicholas to write the hanyupinyin?
yes, when nicholas asked him about the "ting"(listen) word,
cyf(cai yi fei) went, " none of your business" in chinese of course.
isn't that insulting?

the other thing i noticed during THAT lesson.
he always goes; " because of time constrain blahblahblah, "
and he just grabs the marker, not giving a hoot.
is TIME so important?
NO it isn't, compared to the number of things we learnt during chinese lesson( which is 0)

yes, there's this other incident.
which i heard form krystal who heard from her friend in 201.
see, they were hosting the china guests.
CYF is their co-form.
so when the form teacher asks CFY to pick some emcee o sth,
CYF goes, " they arh. so lousy. cannot lah" it's something like that.
isn't that really demoralising?!

just because OUR chinese isn't so good, does he have to voice it out?
& so what?
we are in the midst of learning you know.
not like him.
he's from the land of chinese.
we learn 3 languages ( eng, chinese & a bit of malay, & some ppl learn japanese too).
he learns ONE: chinese.
so is he being fair by criticising us?
NO.
is his english or malay SUPERB?
NO.
i think our english would be better than his.

so is all THIS fair to us?
i doubt so.

the thing is, he, being the teacher, shouldn't he change his habits to help us in our studies?
e.g. his handwriting
it's not that difficult.
he could write slower.
WE write so slow, but i don't see us dying.
writing slowly won't kill him.
it's just a matter of whether he really wants us to learn.

he should:
1) write slower so that our eyeballs wouldn't come out of their sockets.
2) change his attitude & respect us yeah?
3) explain more specifically
4) spend more TiME. i know time is money, but please luh, time spent for a good cause of studying wont cost much.
5) bond more with the class. because he doesn't seem to feel anything. he just yaks yaks yaks on and on.
6) he sould ask US what words we dont know and at least go through the passage with us so that we can clear up any misunderstandings.
7) maybe he should write EVERYTHING down. we need spoonfeeding sometimes.
we don't have a recorder in our ears that we can record everything he says.

First of all, I would really want to stop all quarreling in the class. If you really have any problems with anyone in the class, settle it with him/ her in class. Directly. I know we managed the CNY deco badly but after all we did our best. Also, with reply to Dorothy's opinion. If you are Cai Yi Fei, what would you think. Seriously. If you really cannot catch up with him, just tell him. Tell him to go slower. If not, you try to get him after school to discuss the school work with him. He is quite free though. Sylvia, if I had recalled, we had flunk last year's new year decor' contest as we were in the least prepared and we hardly knew each other. As you might know, 110'07 has achieved quite a lot of fame when we had successfully won loads of "A*" for our routine and random cleanliness check.

Also, we had proven our worth when we had won contests such as being recognized as one of the best-selling stall for the Mid-Autumn festival the previous year and if you could remember, Sing to the Dawn Part 2.

Naturally, humans are not born to be winners. But, the situation and how the general public looks at us changes when we have won major contests. We would not want to disappoint Mr Tan HY and the others' who had pinned all their hopes on 210 right?

Dorothy, your tag was seriously long. Let's see.

Sup.

As you all might have known, CNY is around the corner and NH has organised some class decoration contest amongst classes of the sec2 levels.

The information of the contest was told on Thursday this week.

I reckon some would have minor conflicts with the class committee, but I urge you all to bury the hatchet and work as a class.

Today, JianSheng & Bryan had spoken and briefed to you all about the proposal on the contest.

Many seemed to pretend to fall on deaf ears, or were simply not listening and even feigned ignorance. However, some really paid their fullest attention to the two of them.

Now, the gist.

The CNY decor' committee was hoping that 210 could work as a class and get this project done once and for all. We would have tried to do it ourselves but the deadline's just too tight.

With only 6 members in the committee, how could they finish re-packaging the class for a brand new look in a mere 14 days from now?

On Thursday, if I'm not mistaken, there's a lot of misunderstandings over this project. Many raised strong and violent objections over the fact that the other 34 members of the 210 family were treated indifferently over the other 6.

We'd like to first apologize on behalf of the 6 members of the CNY decor' team for the fact that we did not divulge any information or discussion on the project, as Mr Tan wants the proposal to be in by Friday.

By now, half of the people looking at this post would have pressed alt + f4 or go around playing with the chatbox when they see the word "HELP".

Like I said, the 6 of us, are all normal human beings too. We do the same workload as you all, we study the same things as you all, and we still need to eat and sleep, unlike robots.

Today, when we asked for helpers at dismissal today, nobody, i repeat, nobody even bothered to stand up and offer a helping hand. True, you have your choice of not helping, it's your life. But not even one in the other thirty four not helping? Coincidentally everyone has something on?

Our class, like what our Chairman said, we lack the team spirit and class bonding. I wouldn't want to see a man-eating-man situation within a bunch of teenage students, going around backstabbing each and every single one of us.

Therefore, take this as a plea from the six of us.

We're not robots or super-humans who do not need sleep.
We do not have any special abilities to do things at super speed.
We still need to finish our homework and attend our weekly CCA's

What we need, is just the help of just a few of you. A mere few, would be sufficient to make a significant difference and speed up the process of the decoration.

I would like to make use of this chance, this contest, to prove to the other classes that 210 CAN work together, as one, like never before.

What I yearn for at class, is merely a class which is intangible bonds, which would never break away, no matter what daunts us.

All for one, one for all.
United we stand, divided we fall.

*This part is the explanation for MinJin, who has posted in the chatbox for the hasty last minute decision on Friday night.

- We were also given last minute decisions on the spot.

- JianSheng ignored his NCC parade and joined us till 3.50, before he was scolded by his Sir's.
Geraldine ignored her NPCC parade and joined us till 4.30 before she was rushed down by her fellow squadmates. Daphne did not go for her usual art practice to join us. I had to cancel my home tuitions to make do with the arrangement.

- I believe, if you are determined on something, you would be able to overcome all odds that come against you. Unless, that's one part of the story.

its regarding some disagreement among some people...
about jiansheng n bryan being chair n vice-chair respectively.
some of u are saying that they are not doing their jobs.
ok...firstly, if they arent up to the job, y would most of our classmates choose them?
since they chose the two of them, we should trust their choices.
i noe its hard to control a class...especially our class.
everyone in our class noes it well enuff...
everyone has this " cant be bothered " attitude...

and im sure u guys dun...so if u wan to make duty easier for urself, cooperate wif me

few tips that can make tings easier n make duty enjoyable!
:

-Before being dismissed, please put ur chairs on the tables.
-DO NOT leave anyting under ur desk....or else i will throw it away
-Pick up litter around u, extremely visible ones ( can be seen from outside the class )
-Arrange tables and chairs. Align them according to the ones beside u.
